Our goal at Hamd is to develop the next generation of leaders who will create a positive impact for their communities. This can’t happen if our youth is not connected with the Quran. The goal of the part time program is to create an environment that allows students to effectively learn to read and memorize the Quran to connect their hearts with words of Allah.
To accomplish this, our hifdh teachers will create a structured plan to help each student make progress in their fluency, tajweed, and memorization. Our teachers will also demonstrate methods to effectively memorize the Quran and retain the memorization.
Our part-time program is not limited to only memorizing the Quran. We also put a priority on helping students understand what they are memorizing and how to implement it in their lives, homes, and communities. To accomplish this, we will teach students the moral and practical lessons associated with the ayahs they are memorizing. The goal of this is to facilitate the tarbiyah of the students to develop their Islamic identity.
